According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shawn Michaels has asked to stay off television until the end of the year, or early next year, returning in time for a Wrestlemania run.

The original plan had Michaels returning in time for Summerslam. Michaels is financially set for life, and is enjoying being home with his family.
